The first 11-metre Endurance exploration chase boat is taking shape.
With the keel of the aluminium hull exploration catamaran laid, Endurance is well on track for sea trials and delivery later this year.
“At Off Piste Marine, we believe in pushing the limits of what’s possible,” says James Wakeford, Founder of Off Piste Marine. “Endurance is not just a boat; it’s a testament to the spirit of adventure, built for those who dare to explore the unknown.”

The sleek exterior styling is by Hydro Tec, the world-renowned superyacht design house, while the naval architecture comes from Chartwell Marine, a multi-award-winning commercial engineering firm. The result is an adventure-ready utility boat with the rugged elegance of a modern 4×4 off road vehicle, capable of cruising anywhere in the world.
Constructed from military-grade aluminium, this is one of the toughest and most versatile explorer chase boats, with the grace and aesthetics to complement any superyacht tender garage. To read more on why we chose aluminium click here.
“Our extensive experience in developing world-class explorer vessels has been crucial to the Endurance project,” says Sergio Cutolo, Founder of Hydro Tec. “We have channelled our deep background in exploration into the design of this small tender, breaking down all barriers and enabling limitless exploration in areas without services or docks.”
No other chase boat on the market offers such high carrying capacity while being built to tackle extreme climates. With a modular layout and customizable solutions, there is guaranteed to be an Endurance that meets your needs. It can carry everything from motorcycles and ATVs to snowmobiles, with various optional extras, including a roof tent. The Endurance range is ideal for commercial use, fishing, military operations, or as a chase boat and tender.
“Drawing on my decades of experience, I founded Off Piste Marine to create bespoke, explorer-style boats,” says James Wakeford, CEO of Off Piste Marine. “I’ve applied my knowledge of reliability, design, and attention to detail to build vessels that I trust for my own family. Many of the features and practical aspects of the design have been drawn from my experience of when things have gone wrong. I always focus on safety, reliability, practicality, and redundancy, which are crucial for an exploration vessel in remote areas.”
Sea trials for the first Endurance are expected to take place late summer this summer.
